No matter your age, race or religion there is something for everyone to enjoy in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Our nation’s capital is so full of rich history. From John Adams, the first United States President who officially made 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C. his home, to our current President, Barack Obama, who has made history as the first ever, African American President of the United States.

The Metropolitan area, consisting of Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland offers something for everyone. Here you will find Historic museums and parks, many free summer events, excellent colleges and universities and most importantly a vast group of people from all nationalities, religions, and walks of life.

Here in Washington D.C. often referred to as The Chocolate City” in representation of its predominately black population, there are so many different things to do. From viewing the cherry blossoms, visiting dozens of the museums and galleries (that just may happen to be free of charge) such as The Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Smithsonian to taking part in our abundant night life by visiting the many clubs and bars on U Street, in Dupont Circle you will certainly enjoy everything that this city offers.

Virginia, known as the “City for lovers” with counties such as Arlington, Alexandria and Fairfax has a wide array of activities and note worthy places to go. Whether you are looking to entertain the entire family, enjoy the historic scenery or enjoy an outdoor concert, you have certainly come to the right place.

Last but certainly not least there is Maryland, known as the city with the best crabs. Maryland, which will be the best place to take the family to enjoy its famous crabs while perhaps sitting at the dock on the bay, also offers much to be anticipated. Like D.C and VA Maryland has some of the area’s best night life, huge amusement parks, excellent and renowned colleges and universities and plenty of places to shop.

The Metropolitan area, where everyone can live, love and learn, weather you are here to visit or thinking of relocating, there is something for everyone.
