Anwan “Big-G” Glover
March 7, 2011
The world knows him as “Slim Charles” from the cable series “The Wire” but back home in Washington DC, he’s known as “Big-G” from his band “Backyard.” His tall, slinky statue has been gracing the stage on the GO-Go scene since the late 80′s. Big-G is no stranger to the violence and undesirable activates that plague the streets of D.C. He has been arrested as well as shot and has seen loved ones pass away. But that hasn’t stopped him from reaching for success and making a change.
Big-G has been in movies, music videos, and has been seen on well known TV shows such as “Law & Order.” His love for his city and passion for film making is second to none. He has big dreams for the youth of tomorrow and is striving hard to make Washington DC a premier location for successful film-works. With an attitude like his, how can you not win? Big-G, Swagevents.com stands behind you and we hope that the rest of your city supports you as well.
